On Friday, October 24,Join CKUT and Media@McGill host Anna Leventhal in a lecture titled,
"Roots of Grass: An (Incomplete) History of Alternative Media in Quebec." This multimedia
discussion is FREE and will be held in Arts W-215 (853 Sherbrooke W.)
at 7pm. For more information visit Media@McGill for details.

On Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 6pm, CKUT volunteers and staff will give hands-on
workshops covering everything you want and need to know about producing stelar community

2008 for our 2008 Media Democracy Day (MD Day) festivities.

MDD will include a series of exciting panels, workshops and speakers. Confirmed speakers include:

David Beers - Publisher – The Tyee
Michael Tippett - Co-founder of Nowpublic.com
Robert Hackett - professor at SFU and author of “Remaking Media”
Robert Scales – CEO of RainCity
Brian Campell - Seriously Free Speech Committee
